Plan on your FAFSA taking about 30 minutes to complete.
2024-2025 FAFSA Workshops
- Monday, December 9 | 10 AM - 2 PM | Heaton Family Learning Commons, Room 133
- Register by Tuesday, December 3
See below for items to bring to the workshop.
What you will need to complete your FAFSA:
- Create your Studentaid.gov Account(s) at studentaid.gov at least 4 days prior to the workshop. Do not share your account information.
- Bring your 2023 federal income tax return 1040 and W-2 forms.
- Know your social security number for students and parents (if applicable).
If you are required to have parents information on the FAFSA the following parent(s) will also need to create a Studentaid.gov Account 4 days prior to completing the FAFSA for you to invite to complete the parent section.
- Parents divorced - the parent that provides the greater financial support is the parent
contributor and must have a Studentaid.gov Account. If that parent is remarried follow
bullets below.
- Parents married and file their taxes jointly - one parent needs an Account and will be ask to sign.
- Parents married filing separately - both parents need to have an Account and both have to sign.
- Parents live together but not married - both parents need to have an Account and both have to sign.
- Students planning to attend in the Fall 2025 and/or Spring/Summer 2026 terms can file the 2025-2026 FAFSA using the 2023 Federal Income Tax Returns and W-2.
Student and parent if applicable.
